Aside from that you could format and start fresh.

Bitlocker is Microsoft's drive encryption utility. I do not think it was caused by malware or a malcious actor.

If you have the bitlocker code, I highly suggest that route. There has been an updated patch.

I truly do not believe it was caused by anything malicious, but if its of the highest level of concern I would take it to your IT department.
