so what do you need and why do you need it and what do you need it for download the NVIDIA app, it'll take care of it if you have access to windows you'll be fine if you can't open windows you probably need to reinstall

So if neither the integrated ports or ports on the GPU are outputting anything, how do you know it's booting into the OS? I'm confused.
comptia guninvalid+ certified
if the integrated port isn't working your only real option is reinstall windows because if the integrated port isn't working that sounds like a hardware failure
gabrielplayzStudio
The iGPU works completely fine
comptia guninvalid+ certified
ok then yea just install NVIDIA app itll fix it for you
gabrielplayzStudio
if i boot into windows without gpu and uses igpu only it works fine but i cant install nvidia app without gpu installed
comptia guninvalid+ certified
you can uninstall and reinstall it shouldn't matter anyway
gabrielplayzStudio
so im trying to install the drivers using external forces
comptia guninvalid+ certified
just uninstall nvidia app reinstall the app
gabrielplayzStudio
i cant install/reinstall
gabrielplayzStudio
i need the physical gpu..
comptia guninvalid+ certified
...explain?
gabrielplayzStudio
i cant SEE into windows with gpu it gives black screen but it boots onto windows i can hear the ding sound just no display
comptia guninvalid+ certified
use the integrated gpu if the igpu works just use the igpu use that display to uninstall/reinstall nvidia app and then let it handle your drivers
gabrielplayzStudio
but if i boot into windows using igpu it boots but if i install nvidia app it doesnt work because i need to plug in gpu i physically unplugged the gpu from mobo
comptia guninvalid+ certified
do you have a screenshot/video? ok try booting into bios directly
gabrielplayzStudio
this is the only way i can use igpu and boot onto it
comptia guninvalid+ certified
it should show through your igpu, then try disconnecting from igpu and try from the 1060 because this kinda sounds like a hardware failure
gabrielplayzStudio
it kinda does not ngl i used ddu it boots onto windows with gpu installed but no display
comptia guninvalid+ certified
ok let's circumvent windows and drivers entirely
gabrielplayzStudio
i tried to force igpu but it doesnt work for some reason with gpu installes
comptia guninvalid+ certified
try booting into the BIOS
gabrielplayzStudio
okay
comptia guninvalid+ certified
it should show you a display through igpu, see if it also shows you a display through your gpu
gabrielplayzStudio
bios screen does not show with gpu but it boots into windows i can hear the ding sound
comptia guninvalid+ certified
...i believe it should show with the gpu if the gpu is fine? do you know if the gpu was working before? actually i should've started with try showing device manager
gabrielplayzStudio
i didnt use the pc yesterday, after booting up now i saw the gpu wasnt working properly and tried to reinstall drivers using ddu it shows a warning sign first booting up then i tried this
comptia guninvalid+ certified
do you have a pciture of the warning sign?
gabrielplayzStudio
nope
comptia guninvalid+ certified
or what did that warning sign say
gabrielplayzStudio
just a warning sign when your device isnt working properly
comptia guninvalid+ certified
like a blue screen? :blue_screen:
gabrielplayzStudio
like replace the gpu with a warning sign
comptia guninvalid+ certified
can you please post a screenshot/picture
gabrielplayzStudio
okay wait okay let me find i used your gpu as example
gabrielplayzStudio
its like that
comptia guninvalid+ certified
no please don't mark it up just go in snipping tool just open device manager and take a screenshot
gabrielplayzStudio
im using igpu so it shows my igpu
comptia guninvalid+ certified
it should show you both
gabrielplayzStudio
i cant see with gpu plugged in i uninstalled gpu drivers using ddu so it doesnt show
comptia guninvalid+ certified
that's not how that works
gabrielplayzStudio
let me see
comptia guninvalid+ certified
it would still show the device
gabrielplayzStudio
wait
gabrielplayzStudio
told you so
comptia guninvalid+ certified
yea this looks like a hardware failure it would still show you your device even if you unistalled all the drivers
gabrielplayzStudio
any trace of nvidia is erased from my pc unplugged too
comptia guninvalid+ certified
your device is unplugged?
gabrielplayzStudio
yeah..
comptia guninvalid+ certified
OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK so so so ok so
gabrielplayzStudio
it i drivers it only boots with igpu and nvidia gpu is unplugged
comptia guninvalid+ certified
so you're saying that when you have your gpu unplugged or unpowered, you can get a display out of your igpu but if you hvae it plugged in, windows will default to your igpu and try using your gpu instead but it can't use your gpu
gabrielplayzStudio
yeah also if i use nvidia gpu it boots but no display whatsoever but it boots i can hear ding soumd
comptia guninvalid+ certified
you can try manually downloading the drivers from here
gabrielplayzStudio
igpu = boots with display gpu = boots but no display and bios manually like the file?
