hello
i need to change my nat from strict to open
i want to play assassin's creed unity multiplayer co op so i can join with my friends normally
:bruh_what:
why would you need to change your NAT settings for that?
are you getting an error message? can you show the error message?
when i try to start co op mission its shows ( ur nat is strict ) and it will take long to find co op lobby
and when i add someone and try to join him it's shows for me Connection failed try again later
i googled this issue and try to find a solution from ai chat gpt or google there are many soultions i tried it all
i tried to open ports and put ac unity ports to connect
i tried to enable upnp
i tried to enable dmz
i tried to open vpn
i can't join with someone lives in europe or america
it's an popular issue in ac unity ( assassin's creed unity )
9 min+ to find just a co op lobby

@pls hire me
it could literally just be that no one plays this
are you not able to play at all or does it just take a while to find a lobby?
not at all but i can just play with people lives in asia
cuz my nat is strict
so you can't play at all because of strict nat?
that's really bad game design
i don't know why all this
it's ubisoft game
yea
nat open can't play with nat strict
and nat strict can't play with nat open
:mont3r_load:
look bruh i'm playing with asian man because his nat is strict also i think

what does nat open even mean in this context? this feels like just a setting in your settings menu or something
because ive never heard of strict/open nat
it could be referring to port forwarding but no one calls it that plus they can't reasonably expect everyone to do port forwarding
no they're trolling you
last one literally translates to my, my penis
are u from china also
sorry just kidding
okay do u have a solution for ts
no because i don't know what open nat even means
but i can tell you that NAT is usually configured in your router
so if it is actually a NAT issue, you would go there to fix it
but at the same time i really don't recommend you do that unless you know what you're doing, and nothing you've said gives me the sense that you know what you're doing
of course you can still do it but playing around with NAT too much can be a massive security hole
i know the dmz and these things are senstitive
if you had a DMZ you wouldn't be asking me this question
okay i know just about dmz it's security hole
but what about the upnp and port forwading
those are also security risks yes
shit
i will disabled it noowwwwww
which is why i can't recommend you do that in good conscience
but those could be what open NAT means
this has the connotation of meaning that it's just a toggle but i can't for the life of me imagine what that toggle would be

:dumpster_fire:
oh it's a 2014 game
yeah
so low playercount but not no one playing
it's the only nice co op game in assassin's creed games
from quality parkour and gameplay and story
the steam player counts are a little healthier, idk if i can find console player counts so you might have an easier time on steam
or you might not idk
okay
thx u brotherrrrr
