ICan you use VoIPs for Discord verification?

I've recently switched accounts because my old account was compromised (databreached). I have a lot of stuff that needs to be transferred to this account but I can't remove my phone number from my other account because it yaps about some suspicious activity and asks me to verify with a phone num to access my stuff. If this account gets marked as suspicious activity too I won't be able to access it and I can't use the same phone number on this account so I thought maybe VoIPs could work.
