Fake pictures?/False profile?/Hacked?

Hello, I'm not one to post on a public form. But, I'm in a tough spot to say the least. So I'll just tell my story, I was at work slinging coffees as one does a Dunkin Donuts. And then my manager asked I come to the office. So I obligated. HR in formed me to go home because of a "customer complaint". So as anyone would do, thinking it's probably just a Karen complain about her coffee or tea I figure "well this will blow over" Boy, was I wrong. I end up getting a call from HR terminating my position over images of alleged conversations with a minor (which are neither highly doctored or made with two phones texting back and forth?) Basically HR is giving me till the end of the week to prove my innocent. Anyway i could get any aid with this situation? I'm not usually the one to reach out for help but at this point really desperate and have no clue what to do with all the lack of resources there are. Tried getting a hold of facebook(meta) and really anything I could think of. Thank you.

I'll start this off by saying Cyber Info staff are not lawyers nor do we provide legal advice, so I recommend taking any suggestions here with a grain of salt and consulting with your own legal counsel for the best steps to ensure you are both not wrongfully terminated for something you didn't do, but are also able to take action on the impersonating accounts. For account impersonation, check out this article from Namecheap with some of the best steps to address this: https://www.namecheap.com/blog/online-impersonation/ If you believe your identity was stolen or is being used to commit fraudulent acts, I recommend getting in touch with the appropriate government entity. E.g. https://www.identitytheft.gov/ Lastly, for your job safety, if you believe this case is being handled unfairly, you can most-likely find a higher level HR manager or consult with other leadership to ensure your accusation is being treated fairly.

HR wants Definitive proof of my innocent (when these said photos could strongly be doctored) So far I haven't had much luck to say the least. Alot of inconsistencies with the photos and whoever reported me that is actually confidential. So there for its hard to say where this source was truly coming from.
