Anyone know how to fix ts?
I'm using avast anti virus and it's stuck at this percentage. Anyone know a fix? (Ignore 41 threats)

Don't bother saying "Don't use avast" I'm broke
Please
🙏
Step 1. Ditch the "AV" that's basically malware.
The huh
Solution
Step 2. Use Defender UI https://voodooshield.com/DefenderUI.aspx
Ok
You mean avast?
Yes
Ahh thanks
Defender with Defender UI is much more capable and less weird
Installing it rn
ok yes you should be not using avast
BUT instead you can just use windows defender
This guy here told me to use like an extension that overrides the defender ui
So that it's better
:Len_ee:
Defender ui
i mean it's your computer, you can do that if you want
i have no reason to distrust them, ive seen them around but also the vanilla UI is fine as i see it
Honestly I shouldn't have my own computer
I'm VERY vulnerable to threats
It's kinda insane
But it always end up going fine so
im join and say 😇 uninstall windows
Shush mr linux
Im on a laptop
And
Uhh
Idrk can you install liinux on a windows laptop?
yes
im using linux on a laptop rn too tho
Im dumb:bigkek:
One of the downsides of normal defender is that you don't get some of the functionality in defender without tweaks. Being able to enable ASR is pretty lit but can be a bit aggressive lol
you can install linux on a potato and that's almost not an exaggeration
Hmmm
Is the ui comftorable?
Like easy to navigate?
steam OS is amazing
linux mint is very good
debian is just okay
STEAM os!?
vyos is CLI only
Jesus all I know is mac, linux, and windows. God I wish I was a pc nerd
yes, steam os
steam os is linux based
ui is just DE
though im not sure if you can install it manually yet
Isnt that what the steam deck or whatever it's called is based on?
yes

i think you can
hm
I might get linux bc there's so many people thrashing me for using windows (not talking about you guys)
well for your first OS it's easier to go with linux mint
since steam OS is still kinda finicky for installing on non-steam deck hardware, it's not quite officially supported yet
Does linux work with printers 😭
that can be finicky sometimes 😭
especially when you have no experience yourself
but i believe HP provides linux drivers at least
mint ship outdated software
go with fedora or smth
At the end of the day, the right OS is whatever works for you. Nothing wrong with trying something new but if you're not very technical, I'd probably advise just sticking with what you've got now. The benefits don't outweigh the risk of dealing with something that might be trivial for technical people but daunting issues for you
you can also do fedora yes
Also can I put water in a pc without it breaking while we're on the topic of computers?
I want to drink pc juice
why do you have to put water on a pc?
oh lmao
Because I want to drink computer water 🙏
uh don't get it inside the computer as much as possible
you can drink pc juice without pouring water
if you do want to get it inside you should probably just take out all the elsctronics first
by popping some capacitors
Like what if it tastes like nintendo cartridges
Can I put led in my teeth
And final question
Which is better for an os: Steam os or Linux
LED? light emitting diode? yes
led? Pb? you really shouldn't
led? pencil graphite? yes, but don't overdo it
neither
steam OS is amazing for gameplay, but linux is very, very, very general purpose
Why you saying this like I can get addicted to ts 🧂
if you eat pencil lead itll just go straight through you 📝
So... I stick with windows? Because I hate making decisions
what are you looking for from an OS?
or what do you want to do with one PC?
Uhh
Hmmm
if you want to try linux, it's easier to just use a VM
if this is your one and only computer, you're honestly better off staying with windows*
Okay
:zCFwindows:
What if I draw on a peice of paper THEN eat the paper 🇦🇬
:kannanom:
the paper will go straight through you
i may or may not be speaking from experience
God fucking damn it kris why won't we load?
