i joined someone on tmod loader and joined their server then it installed a rat where they tried to steal stuff of my mc acc which i transfered as i realised they said they had a backdoor on my pc do they from tmod loader?

ok so tmodloader has a problem where it doesnt verify mods anymore because they moved over to the steam workshop

Wiping would be the best cause of action especially if they say that they have a back door. Now the fact they said they have a back door when you do reboot your pc make sure you are rebooting away from your ethernet cable just pull it out. Once you get it back up and running use something like malwarebytes or kaspersky rescu disk in the future to prevent it

Make sure important passwords that you used on that PC are reset off that pc also, meaning reset them using a phone or different pc.

i’ll put this in simple terms real quick; malware is similar to a computer virus, it is used to steal your data and breach through any vulnerable files that are consisted of personal information
