Windows defender flagging and quarantining lots of files I don't have as severe and high.

I installed Kali Linux on VirtualBox 2 days ago to play with Metasploit and other tools but never did anything serious. Are these the VM files or am I getting hacked?

so windows defender did a scan and found a duckton of stuff, it is Kali after all

so probably best bet is to delete your kali install then do a normal windows defender full scan just in case

or you can just leave your Kali install as is if you plan to use it again soon

I did enable shared folders but didn't add anything in it yet.
Could that be the reason?
