Linux installation
hey guy im new at cybersecurity stuff and i want to install linux to get to know the system, which type of linux should I install, most of the people tell me Kali Linux, but if anyone have any other suggestions i would be very grateful

if you just want to try linux, you can use something like WSL
the only other suggestion I can really give is linux mint
i think those are your only real two options. kali is not a good intro linux distro
Kali is mainly used as an Ethical Hacking distro, and I wouldn't recommend it for beginners. I would recommend fedora, mint, or even ubuntu for a beginner to get used to terminal
If you’re trying to learn to use linux without wrecking anything on accident, you should probably use a virtual machine with Debian on it. If you wanna use linux for daily driving as a beginner then ubuntu is a good start ^^
im trying to use linux as my daily system so im not going to use any virtual machine, im just gonna install it on my pc and try to learn, thnks for the advice guys, if y’all got any videos to learn y will be grateful to watch it
