Accidentally ran malicious malware
Hello i have a question regarding malicious exe files, can someone help me?
So i accidentally ran a malicious exe file, after realizing i quickly ended it in the task manager, and deleted the file and folder. i ran malwarebytes and it said i was fine. I pasted the exe into virustotal and it was a win.generic and after reading up on its file system actions n stuff it seems like a nothing burger. I didnt give any UCA. The exe file deleted itself after i tried reinstalling the file to look it up.
There are no new programs, start up sequences and malwarebytes doesnt report anything, i am still concerned however and wanted a second opinion. I can send the virustotal link if someone wants a look themselves
