Network problem.
Hello some of you might remember me having a particular network issue i had earlier. Please help me with this and im not any professional so bare with me if i am a bit slow. Basically i accidentally clicked network reset once and now whenever i try to use multiplayer features in games or join discord vc(s) i cant do that. Alongwith that i am now having a new problem which is discord randomly stops working almost like i randomly turned off the internet but i didnt. It works VERY slow and at times it can be fixed by just reopening but sometimes i just need to wait 20 min to use discord. I can use yt and other things. These network problems only happen when i take WiFi from my router. The last time i posted this some of you suggested i should get this fixed by my dad but when i talked to him about it he said he didnt do any tweaks to the network stuff and that networking is very complex so he could not really find a solution. Feel free to ask more questions if you think you can solve this.

i can connect to my wifi though i cant connect to multiplayer games and discord works slow randomly
Could be a adapter issue and you may need to reinstall it
I’m assuming your pc uses a wifi card and the network reset removed it
Or an adapter that gives wifi or special configurations
how do i check if it does

Press Start > type network and click Network Connections . There you'll see a window that lists what adapter WiFi 1 and WiFi 2 are linked to
It could also be like 10 other things that caused it

Keep doing research and watch yt those are the steps I usually take when trying to solve issues like these

under the name of the router model it is written 802.11n USB Wireless LAN Card
Yea that’s a wifi card / wifi usb
And I’m guessing the drivers for them got reset
dude i am facing this problem for over a month now
many people said many things on this like some guy said something called computer listening port of the multiplayer games got disabled and i have to open them or something
when i did research on this it said its done by "port forwarding" which i dont understand and is wayy too complex and insecure for me to do
the owner of this server previously suggested changing my ipv4 dns server addresses which i dont know how it works but after doing it like he told me still nothing is working
Yea like I said it could be 10 different things and there’s no way I can solve it and figure out the issue because I don’t have access or have the device in front of me
But my guess is just the wifi card/usb got reset
Because “Network reset removes any network adapters you have installed and the settings for them”
And since your pc is using a wifi card/usb
That’s just my guess and I’ll start looking from there
aaand how do i fix it? its a weird problem cuz i can use the internet but just cant play online games. I can also play online games if i use someone else's phone to get WiFi

Have you rebooted your router
turning it off and then on? ive tried that unless you mean something else
