Network Issue

I need some help with my network stuff. A few days ago I was messing with my network adapter in the control panel and device manager, i ran some commands in cmd like changing TCP etc, I messed with my router too. I noticed lag spikes in games, they're really small and almost unnoticeable if i don't turn on graphs. Anyways I uninstalled the adapter, I resetted and restarted my router, reverted the commands in cmd, I may be missing something since spikes are still there. What do you suggest?

Yes, tcp and another one called congestion are reverted

of course, typical troubleshooting steps, make sure you've rebooted your system itself if you haven't set up a static network most likely you should have your IP address set via DHCP, so make sure to verify that (should be settings > network and internet > select your wifi network > properties > look under ip assignment, it should say DHCP) if you have an ethernet port and an ethernet cable plug it into your router and see if that fixes things oh also question, can you connect to the internet via your phone? if you can then obviously you screwed something up do you remember the commands you used or what you tried to do?

this is completely normal, this is just entropy. sometimes you're the only one using a particular internet line and sometimes google is doing a data transfer between datacenters and the entire bandwidth gets eaten for two seconds. lag spikes happen because the world isn't perfect. if they don't affect gameplay as you say, you really have nothing to worry about further fixing steps, if it isn't DHCP, set it to DHCP. if it is DHCP, you'll probably be able to just run ipconfig /release to drop your old DHCP lease and get a new one from your router. fun fact: i was asked this during an interview and i got it wrong :(

I resorted to reinstalling windows, too much of a hassle for nothing.
