Monitor goes black randomly for about 3-5 seconds, white line appears going down before screen comes
Did driver update, firmware update, reset all settings, disabled g-sync, tried everything by the book but nothing seems to work.

Monitor is a OLED ROG STRIX XG27AQDMG
GPU RTX 4060
do u have another monitor
or another computer
Yea, it's a monitor issue only, GPU doesn't seem to be the issue here.
Plugged in a different monitor and works perfectly.
sadge
u sure its not the cable or the port or anything?
sounds like u get an upgrade tho!!
:)))
Cable change and everything, I think im coming to the conclusion that OLED is not worth your money.
More headache than enjoyment lol.

Its fine, it was spare money to see if OLED is something I wanted to switch to
But clearly not worth the time lol

Yeaaaa LCD never let me down
tbf, the look of oled and mled really makes me want to switch eventually
and the prices are becoming more reasonable
movies on an oled tv are amazing
There's nothing you can do if you tried the above, it's 100% just the monitor itself. The ROG STRIX monitor you mentioned you had was flagged by several other people for black screen flickers and white line flashes. The main root cause of this is that the panels are notorious for reacting to refresh rate dips and mainly in dark scenes. this is just seems to be a general OLED issue since the tech still has ways to go in terms of improvement.
Figured so.
and now you know why jayztwocents banned asus from his channel
