PC turning on (fan spinning) but nothing displays
i wanted to play valorant and it told me to turn on secureboot so i went to the bios and noticed that XMP was turned off so i turned it on and checked for safe boot and it was turned on, so i pressed save and exit, nothing appeared on the screen, i force shut it off and turned it back on, same thing

Hey, so i belive valorant wanted you to disable it, not enable it. And XMP stops your pc from booting fully if you have an amd cpu, so what cpu do you have? Because amd has a different type of XMP
Doesnt XMP boost the RAM? I have an AMD cpu. Its a Ryzen 5 8600G
also i already took the GPU out so i can take the CMOS out
Im now putting the GPU back in

XMP is for intel cpu’s working with ram, EXPO is for amd cpu’s and working with ram
You cant use XMP with an amd cpu
ohhhhh yeah i remember hearing that somewhere
brb i have to put the screws back in
If you use XMP with amd it wont fully boot
it stops at the ram
i was genuinely so freaking terrified when i was taking out the GPU i didnt want to break it and i already lost a screw, then i got another screwdriver that’s magnetic and i found the lost screw and now i dont have to trll my dad that i opened up the PC without his permission
@Prosalami22 didnt work
What else have you changed in the bios?
Nevermind it was just taking a long time to load
Ah
Glad it fixed your problem!
Have a nice day
thanks for your help
