confusion regarded screen mirroring spywares?
Is there any way for a pdf to contain such kind of spyware or trojan? i downloaded a couple of pdfs my friends sent me and i have been a little bit curious if it is possible?

I'm not aware of a pdf exploit in particular but it's very easy to put a macro into a MS Word doc
my best guess is that it's not possible with an actual pdf since pdf's can be viewed in several ways that don't always match
like if you don't have acrobat on your computer you probably don't have much to worry about
i do have to wonder what kinds of friends you're hanging out with that this could be a concern though...
its only a pdf that i downloaded so that clears it out maybe and i opened it in my android phone using an in built pdf reader
ok yea if you're on an android you have nothing to worry about
well there are not such tech savvy except a couple but i recently came across lots of this pegasus type spyware so i got a bit concerned
the only thing you might be concerned with is whether or not it's actually a PDF but if your pdf viewer can read it you have nothing to worry about
alright
ohh alright , thanks for the help
my understanding of pegasus was that was a zero-click exploit, you didn't have to do anything and you could've just been pwned
but unless you work for the government of Iran or Hamas, you don't have anything to worry about, israel and the CIA are not wasting that shit on you
ohh alright
😭 hahah yea , thanks for the help again . appreciate it

ah, pegasus was an iOS exploit not an android one
yea you don't have anything to worry about
glad to help
