My new A50 X headset will not recognize on my PC, PLEASE HELP
Hi, I just bought the logitech A50 X gaming headset and for some reason it wont recognize on my PC, this has also happened with 2 previous steelseries headsets, i spent the money and i really dont wanna go through refunding it, ive tried force updating the drivers to make it recognize the headset. redownloading/updating all of my pc's drivers and a few other things, PLEASE HELP!! thank you and have a good day

have you tried to see if they work on another computer?
just to make sure it's not a hardware issue
Yes i have, i tested it on my laptop and my buddies pc

would you be able to try installing another OS on the computer? do you already have one you can try? do you have like a bootable kali stick somewhere?
and are you connecting by bluetooth or by the USB dongle?
i dont and cant sorry, and its a USB dongle
can you try following bluetooth? the instructions came with your headphones but you can also do them online
you've tried all your usb ports right?
ive tried bluetooth, it reacognizes it but wont connect, and ive tried every usb port

also, you said you've had to do this in the past, what fixed it last time?
there was no fix, i sold the headset to one of my buddies
and there was no BT error, it just timed out
also the drivers show up as this, i know they are messed up

many newer Logitech devices can use both
no i meant like his actual bluetooth
so you can connect via the usb bluetooth if your device doesn't have Bluetooth or you can connect via normal Bluetooth pairing

all this did is create more drivers issues, idk what half of these are anymore

other than the fact idk how, i have alot of files i cant get back again, im currently bound to my room because of a surgery and i dont have and external device to back stuff up to...
windows updates > check for updates
then advanced options > optional updates
there are none
did ya check for updates in the main updates menu

also i'm guessing you've tried plugging the dongle into multiple ports?

do you have another USB device lying around you can try? does a usb mouse or usb keyboard work?
i just swapped my mouse with the headphone hub, still works the headset doesnt though, i just find it weird that my other headset did this too
and now my mic broke after doing the usb hub thing

well now this is more of an issue than just the headset, i cant do a fresh reinstall because of some weird error, and now my mic doesnt work either
