im sorry how are you wiping your pc?
with a towel??
To reformat enter bios at launch screen, pick the OS data at boot option

right right sorry
but yes @CallsignPanzer can you explain how you wiped your PC?
because there's a few different definitions, and doing them wrong or for the wrong reason can break pretty much everything
Ive mainly used the windows recovery in the settings both with and without keeping my files, cloud and local download and ive done advanced startup too
so why are you trying to wipe your PC?
or actually, what are you trying to accomplish? or what problem are you trying to fix?
My has refused to recognize new drivers/wont download new drivers for devices, some devices drivers will just stop existing in their respective folders, and as of today it will not recognize the external storage devices i have, im trying to wipe my pc in the hopes that resetting it will fix the issue
that kinda sounds like you need to reinstall yea
have you already backed up your data? is there still data you need to retrieve?
i have, but i am about to do another one just in case
but the other issue is when i try to wipe, it bluescreens
you're definitely doing it wrong
look up a guide on how to reinstall windows, you should be able to pretty easily find one from microsoft
basically you would need an external usb that you can install a windows image onto, then you would boot into that image and follow the install instructions
Well i might be seeing this late
Cant you specify blue screen on what state
Like when you try to boot the iso file
Or when you restart your system
so another issue, it wont recognize any external usb devices i plug in
it bluescreens whenever it gets to around %1 of the wipe

Ok so what you can do
Goto google
Search Rufus
Downlaod its portable version and just download windows from their but if you have an iso of windows already you can skip that part as well
You can also make a bootable usb using rufus as well if windows official one is failing
ngl i dont think rufus is working rn
anything else i could do, or is there something i can do to make rufus work?
if you have another computer running windows, try making an install stick on there instead
i can, but wouldnt my usb ports not recognizing my thumb stick still be an issue?
no because you'd be doing it at a BIOS level
if the BIOS has failed you pretty much have to reflash the BIOS or more likely just replace the device entirely
ill sure try it
i have a board coming up tomorrow that i have to study for, so ill try afterwards
Power on start up (post) --> bios --> os
Installation - Atlas Documentation

Just skip the download portion and use the no usb way mentioned here in detail
