Local Linux user is idiot, SSD borked

Ok, this is the last cry for help before I just take it to a repair shop. I was being a fucking idiot and decided to unscrew my laptop and take out the NVMe while it was still running. Now I can still run the NVMe and my Windows partition boots just fine, somehow, but none of my Linux partitions work. I tried running a Linux install ISO but Linux mint gives me SQUASHFS errors when I try to install. I am able to get it to work when I boot in grub2 mode, but it still errors anytime I try to install the OS. I'm currently testing with another SSD and it looks like it boots properly. Is there anything else I can do? Is my SSD just borked?
