Onionshare persistance in Tails OS
I recently started trying Tails OS, but im seeing an issue with using persistance in OnionShare. I am trying to save a onionshare chat server than i can save so it keeps the same link when i reboot and relaunch it, but with dotfiles, it fails to launch because the onionshare.json is glitching. What do i do to make it so persistance works, since onionshare.json has a variable linked to persistance that breaks if i only save one of them, but with both it fails to launch. Please help or give me some tips.

Appears nobody knows about tails os, i never got an answer so i will just close this and set it up on onionshare on another device

"onionshare.json is glitching"... by that you mean?
I don't really use tails but I understand the theory behind an amnesiac system. I assume the .files you mentioned are hidden files that you add directories and files to avoid being "forgotten".
Does that sound right?
Can you share the .file? I'll have to try and intuit how OnionShare works.
Sorry for the late reply, by onionshare.json is glitching is by that whenever i add it to a folder that saves it and replaces it back to the location again. The app onionshare fails to boot
The tails os has a default it loads to, but you can save a new default to it by adding stuff to a persistant storage that places them back into the correct location
And i have to keep the peristance file in onionshare and the onionshare json for it to correctly recreate the settings, but then it saves incorrect bridge keys and fails to boot
So its basically a lose lose situation
but im thinking about just downloading onionshare on my main OS and just hosting the chat server there
