Need help for my home assisant
I'm not a java genius by any stretch, but I'm missing what error you're seeing? The overview on the upper right is tiny and unreadable. What is the issue it presenting with/outputting?

Yep, my 13900KS started to die and that's exactly how it started. Then Intel dropped the info about the 13/14th gen having issues and the warranty extension, but mine passed everything with their software tester/checker. I reached out to them, told them the issues I was experiencing along with logs, screenshots, etc. and they confirmed that was the early signs of a failing processor. Ended up RMA-ing it, and bought a 14900KS to replace it, then changed a few BIOS settings to further prevent that from happening to my new one, even after their microcode updates because they still allow damage unfortunately.

Resource shedding almost makes me think that your PSU vs. hardware components in your PC is causing it. If the power draw exceeds the critical amount the PSU can supply, it's like flipping a metaphorical breaker in the PC which starts to shed everything peripheral-wise it can to save itself from crashing. When the draw is too great, then it can just BSOD to keep from borking components.

Yeah, it's almost a complete redirect because it shows up and makes you think it's a GPU issue, but it's the processor screaming for help before it dies. Usually pops up as "out of graphical memory", or other graphic related error, but that's the voltage spike in the ring frying the silicon one spike at a time.

That sounds like resource shedding to me. What are the specs of your PC?

Alright, try clicking the "Memory" option iin the EZ Mode menu on the left-hand side and snap a picture of what that menu looks like. It's possible it defaulted to on, which is fine, but I just wanted to be sure lol

Once you're finished, try launching the game that caused the issue again and see if the error repeats. If it doesn't, at least right now, your processor might be ok and saved from further damage. If it does pop up again, there are a couple of other settings you can manually change in the BIOS to cap the voltage spikes through the ring. However, they can be pretty involved and not something I recommend to those that aren't experienced in overriding defaults in the advanced BIOS config menu.

Right under the "DDR Speed" section on the top left, there's a button that says "xmp profile 1". I know mine is red once I've enabled it, which is why I suggested turning yours back on as well. (I have an MSI board as well)

Yeah, you'll make sure the USB stick is formatted FAT/FAT32 otherwise it will not work. Try to use a stick with nothing else on it, so that way the only file for the mobo to see if the BIOS file you save to it.
Take the formatted stick with the downloaded/unzipped BIOS version on it, and plug it into the back in the port usually with a boxed outline that says "BIOS", "Flash", or something of that nature on it.
Once plugged in, boot into BIOS and select that "M-FLASH" option in the bottom left corner of the screen and follow the process from there

Alright, first thing, go to the MSI page for your mobo and click the support tab and look for the most recent BIOS version, should be 7E29v1A1 released on May 15, 2025.
Go through the BIOS flash process and get the BIOS up to the newest version as they have released updates with the updated Intel microcode to sort some of the issues out.
