Looking for a Clear Path to Advance in Cybersecurity
It sounds like you may have reached that stage where the paths sort of diverge. What I would recommend is deciding on what you would like to specialize in and then reverse engineer the path from that. If you still want a general roadmap of skills, this might be interesting to look at: https://roadmap.sh/cyber-security I also feel like tryhackme did a good job on describing the pathways in a few of their rooms, it might help you decide. From there you would determine which individual topics to go deeper into and find resources specializing in those. We can help with that once you have an idea.

If you have the bitlocker code, I highly suggest that route. There has been an updated patch. I truly do not believe it was caused by anything malicious, but if its of the highest level of concern I would take it to your IT department.

Bitlocker is Microsoft's drive encryption utility. I do not think it was caused by malware or a malcious actor.

I've been dealing with this a lot at work. https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/microsoft/windows-10-kb5058379-update-triggering-bitlocker-recovery-after-install/ If you don't have the key, try the steps in the article. Aside from that you could format and start fresh.

try this: To roll back to a previous graphics driver, follow these steps: - Open Device Manager by pressing the Windows key + X and selecting Device Manager. - Expand the Display adapters category and right-click on your graphics card. - Select Properties and then go to the Driver tab. - Click on the Roll Back Driver button and confirm your choice by selecting Yes. If the Roll Back Driver option is grayed out, it means Windows does not have a previous driver version stored. In this case, you can: - Visit the device manufacturer’s website to download an older driver version. - Use Windows' built-in driver library by clicking "Update Driver" and choosing "Browse my computer for drivers."
