If you have 4 gigs of ram or less, it's probably just Windows being Windows. If you have more than that, you most likely have a lot of unnecessary programs running on the background. Check your start up programs or whatever it's called and remove everything that seems unnecessary.

You can maybe do known plaintext just using the image headers. The magic bytes are always the same, you could probably bruteforce the rest.

Known plaintext attacks if you know even the contents of a single file. Some archiving software used to be vulnerabe to that kind of attacks.

Creating a Virtual Machine Sandbox for some malware analysis.

Don't give the VM access to the internet and read what the malware code does before running it unless you're 100% sure it won't do any VM escape tricks (VM escapes are very rare, but possible). That's pretty much it.

Crunch is a wordlist generator, right? And you're trying to generate a wordlist, but Crunch says it's too big? I don't know what crunch does, but if you try to generate a wordlist that tries all possible passwords under a certain length, the file is gonna be massive.

i need help with PE

I'm fuming. That tells nothing at all about what you're actually doing. Have you ran any enumeration scripts/what have you tried, how did you get in, what are you're current privileges, etc. Anyways, try running linpeas or something. Also please use the entire word instead of some abbreviation (especially when there is barely any context). Also I've never heard privesc being refered to as PE.
